At the Palazzo Mocenigo Museum, the exhibition Journey into the History of Perfume displays over 500 bottles selected from the Storp Collection, one of the rarest in the world. The journey through 6.000 years of olfactory culture, from Ancient Egypt to modernity, and also presents seven historical fragrances reconstructed by Givaudan. The installation, divided into 32 chronological modules, shows how perfume has accompanied every aspect of human life: sacred, cosmetic, medical. Each bottle is a fragment of history, aesthetic and symbolic memory, preserved in glass. The journey is introduced by an immersive video mapping by Zignago Vetro. The exhibition, promoted by Mavive in collaboration with the University of Padua and the Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia, celebrates perfume as a cultural and anthropological heritage.
