The exhibition entitled Federica Marangoni. ON THE ROAD 1970-2024. Not Only Glass constitutes a journey back through the Venetian artist and designer's long career, describing in particular her special relationship with glass and Murano since the opening of her Fedra Studio Design in 1970. Since then, Federica Marangoni has experimented with the use of different materials and technological media, ranging in an eclectic and interdisciplinary way towards all areas of communication and flanking her career as a sculptor with her work as a designer and lecturer. The exhibition, set up in different spaces of the Museo del Vetro, unfolds in an engaging path in dialogue with the very architecture of the museum, hosting at the entrance the work La bricola, created for the Euro-Domus in Turin in 1971, while the garden hosts some large multimedia sculptures, including the large rainbow Continuity, created for the patio of the Italian Cultural Institute in Madrid in 2006. The porch, on the other hand, hosts some glass works from the 1980s centered on the theme of the garden and its symbolic implications, and the so-called "Lightness Room" displays works created between 1987 and 2002 that evoke the concepts of air, light, flight and beauty, archetypes of ancient yet eternal memories. The exhibition continues in the "former Conterie" space, articulating into five different sections.
